Riders who follow an RST Cyclist Training Plan can expect increased power output, better aerobic fitness, greater cycling performance, increased climbing ability, and weight loss. All plans are based on the same scientifically-based training principles applied with all RST clients and coaching services.
RST Cyclist Training Plans are a suitable for all riders who want to maximise their training time on a limited budget, or perhaps want to trial what it's like to follow a sound training plan, without commiting to a full coaching relationship.

Plans are available to suit whatever your riding goals might be, for example:
- To get into great shape for an Etape, Sportive or Club Tour
- Preparation for Road, Track or Criterium racing
- Special plans for Time Trialling
- Plans for general fitness and/or weight loss
RST Cyclist Training Plans provide for a basic level of tailoring for you, including an assessment of:
- your riding goals
- your current fitness level
- the time you have available to train
- A 13-week plan, specific to your riding goals
- Details of the workout to be completed for each day
- Workouts describing ride type, duration, intensity, and any specific efforts or intervals
- Matched to your ride time availability and current fitness level
- Training is prescribed using Heart Rate zones
- Plans for Power Meter users are also available

We'll acknowledge receipt and if needed, validate any information we might need to create a plan. We'll also provide payment details (which can be via direct EFT, PayPal or cheque).
How much is it?
As a special introductory offer for Aussies, RST Cyclist Training Plans are available for A$150 per 13-week plan. That works out to only a little more than A$11.50 per week!
For our UK friends, plans are available from £75 per 13-week plan (~£5.75 / week) and those on the other side of the Atlantic pond can get stuck right into their training for just US$115.
How long does it take?
Once we have your competed questionnaire and confirm receipt of payment, then you should expect to receive a plan within one week. These are not instant download plans like you see elsewhere. There is careful thought by a professional coach put into each plan and as such some time is needed to ensure the right plan is provided for you.

Can I ask questions about the training or get help along the way?
RST Cyclist Training Plans have been designed as a low cost way to provide a plan suitable for your riding goals, training time availability and fitness level. Part of keeping the cost down means that no specific support service is provided with the plans.
While we at RST will endeavour to answer the occasional question, if you consider you will need regular communication with a coach, specific tailoring, detailed monitoring of training and plan adjustments, or other such support services for your training, then RST offers various levels of professional coaching services that would be more suitable. Just drop us a note to let us know your interest.
We are looking into providing a user forum where general questions about training can be posted, and for an RST coach to check-in and provide responses on a regular basis.
